FAQS

Do you offer virtual therapy?

Yes, all  virtual speech and language sessions are held through our secure Zoom platform.

How long are sessions?

Typically sessions range from 45 minutes to 1 hour in duration.

Assessment sessions are often 1.5 hour in length.

What are your rates?

Our fees are determined based on the Ontario Speech and Language Association (OSLA) fee schedule suggestion. Please contact us for more information about our fees.

How do I pay?

We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, E-transfer, Debit or Cheque. Payments are due immediately following each session. 

Are you covered by OHIP?

Speech and language sessions are not covered by OHIP. Families are encouraged to check with their private insurance providers for information regarding coverage for speech and language service.

Can I use my private insurance?

Families are encouraged to check with their private insurance providers for information regarding coverage. We do not bill directly to insurance companies. You will be provided with a receipt to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. 

Do I need a doctor's referral?

You do not need a doctor's referral to access speech and language service. 

What is your cancellation policy?

The full session fee will be billed for no-shows and for sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
